The ideal vessel was a Ford Prefect, so we went for a Suzuki SJ410, mostly because of the colour and because we liked the number plate. It has the seemingly mutually exclusive features of a whopping 970cc engine, and genuine (hopefully) 4wd. The colour is a rather special green. The man we bought it from said his wife wanted it to stand out. She got what she asked for. Other excellent features include a soft top, no worries about security then, and a special ability to make even the smoothest of streets feel like you are offroad. We have also discovered that it doesn’t really go much faster than 55mph without the noise, which is pretty bad at any speed, becoming intolerable. It's going to be great fun.

We have had it looked at and it is apparently in good nick, we also decided it would be a good idea to do some redecoration.
